Douglas Tkachuk, PhD

Dr. Doug Tkachuk is the Chief Medical Officer for Quorum Technologies where he assists with building an enterprise telepathology network across Canada. Dr. Tkachuk is an anatomical pathologist at University Health Network (UHN) working as a hematopathologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Lab Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto.

As the founder of TouchPoint Diagnostics he is also working to bring connected point-of-care diagnostics to clinics, homes, and pharmacies. Dr. Tkachuk also serves as a Member of the Technical Advisory Board at Aperio Technologies, Inc.

In addition, Dr. Tkachuk was a founder and President from June 2006 to September 2014 of Objective Pathology Ltd., a digital pathology software development and services company competing in the educational, proficiency, and diagnostic market place. He joined LifeLabs as Medical Director in January 2009, and was its Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President from May 2010 until July 2014.
